Neuroimaging

Description and activities

The fMRI (Functional Magnetic Resonance Imaging) is a non-invasive functional neuroimaging method widely used for both research and clinical purposes.

Connectomics is a recent application of functional neuroimaging techniques. To analyze the big amount of data obtained with these methods, specific IT equipment and software are required.

The Laboratory aims to provide the database, IT equipment, software and backup systems that allow users to access and process data from the Human Connectome Project as well as the locally acquired functional neuroimaging data.
