Techniques of experimental psychology and neuro- psychophysiological recordings
Description and activities
The lab is equipped with four workstation desks, divided into two rooms (Room 9 and Room 10).
Room 9 is equipped with a EEG system and with a desktop for data collection. It is possible to run experiments with visual or auditory stimuli, while recording EEG data (e.g motor evoked potentials, frequency bands).
Room 10 is equipped with three workstation desks:
- Eyetracking workstation: it allows to perform experiments with graphical stimuli (e.g. videos, images) while acquiring eyetracking data (e.g. gaze direction, fixations, saccades)
- Poligraph workstation: it allows to perform experiments with tactile, auditory or graphical stimuli, while recording physiological responses as EKG, EMG and EDA
- Behavioral workstation: it allows to administrate paper and pencil tests, and computer based experiments.
